My life was changed by my first coach. I was a first year teacher, fully floundering, when a man walked up to me and told me that he was part of an organization that coached teachers. He asked if I was interested in being coached and I answered immediately with a loud and resounding, “Yes!”
Since that day over fifteen years ago, I have been committed to learning the art of coaching. As time went on, I also became passionate about using technology to help solve real-world problems. I saw how technology opened brand new doors and opportunities for students, teachers, and schools.
My combined love of coaching, and love of technology, has led me to focus on helping people embed creativity into their lives. It is my deepest belief that every person deserves to wake up each day and live their most creative and fulfilling lives.
I have a master’s degree in education, specializing in curriculum and instruction. I am a former Teach Plus Policy Fellow, a Gate's Foundation Redesign Challenge Innovator, a Google for Education Educator, Innovator, Trainer, and Coach. I was one of five Dynamic Learning Project Mentors, supporting technology coaches across the country and helping write the curriculum for the Google Certified Coach Program. I have extensive experience speaking, leading training, and coaching.
